Halloween Window!!

I had so much fun creating TRIco's Halloween window display!!
... and ironically stabbed myself in the arm whilst doing so.

I decided to make a murder scene using the mannequins, which was perfect because the female is headless... so I added a little blood around the stump and made the male mannequin her decapitator!

I was trying to put a Case XX knife in his hand, while balancing him on a haystack, when the top half of his body fell off, and my lightning reflexes went to catch him, forgetting I had a super sharp blade in my hand. The last picture was the result. Boo.
But, the finished window has a real authenticity because my blood got smeared and splashed onto the mannequins!! Mwahahahahaaaaaa

The Family Panhead

Thought I would share this pic of my Papa in 1979.
The Panhead in the background was his until he sold it to a friend in Florida before moving to the UK way back when...
THEN, more than 40 years later, my cousin, Reino and my dad were in Florida and got into contact with Bernie... who had kept the bike in his garage all these years and sold it back to my cousin for the same price my dad sold it to him for!! Keeping it in the family ;)
Reino then had it shipped out to London and recently rode it to the TripOut:

The Brooklyn Invitational.

What can I say about this fantastic event that hasn't been said before? well one of it's great strengths is it's not just about the bikes.The whole weekend takes on a kind of non stop good times vibe. This year was the best yet. If you haven't been then make a plan for 2013. If you have then you will know just how good a weekend this is. The Friday night Dice party was off the hook too. Just saying.
